Career/Leadership/Life Coach

Background

Typical story, I left high school with minimal direction. My plan was to join the Navy in order to be able to afford an education. Instead, I wound up working full-time for several different companies while attending a local community college, where I switched my major twice. In 2006, I completed my associate's degree, however, I still lacked direction in regard to my career. Despite moving into leadership positions, I toiled in production for eight more years unsatisfied and uncertain of my future.

I have always enjoyed counseling and helping others but lacked the understanding of how to translate that into a career. My journey in professional counseling began in 2014 when I was introduced to the Technical Leadership (BAS TL) program at Bloomsburg University. This program introduced me to various leadership techniques and helped me hone my counseling skills. This love for counseling and development then pushed my desire to continue my education further and I completed my leadership-focused Master's degree in counseling in 2021.

My passion for career counseling was born out of my own journey and my desire to help others discover their own path. Having access to the proper tools and guidance is key to making an informed decision about one’s career path. In 2018, I became a consultant for Career Direct® and began to utilize their Career Direct® Complete Guidance System with all of my clients. This system is an individual, personal growth resource designed to help understand your unique design for work and realize your passions in life.
